Parent Committee

As an independent, community-managed facility, many aspects of the kindergarten are managed by parent/community volunteers who comprise the Committee of Management. Our staff also play an integral part in assisting the committee to ensure the efficient management of the kindergarten on a day to day basis.

The Committee is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting held in early November. The Committee of Management meet monthly to deal with a range of matters that ensure the efficient operation of the kindergarten. Being on the committee is a very rewarding experience and many strong friendships have been forged between committee members over the years.

Social and fundraising activities are also organised by the Committee of Management throughout the year.  These are a great way of getting together and meeting new people as well as raising money to ensure that the kindergarten is able to offer the best possible program and environment for the children.
