Parent Committee

As an independent, community-managed facility, many aspects of the kindergarten are managed by parent/community volunteers who comprise the Committee of Management. Our staff also play an integral part in assisting the committee to ensure the efficient management of the kindergarten on a day to day basis.

The Committee is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting in early November. The Committee of Management meets monthly to discuss a range of matters that ensure the efficient operation of the kindergarten. Being on the committee is a very rewarding experience, and many strong friendships have been forged between committee members over the years.

The Committee of Management also organises social and fundraising activities throughout the year. These are great ways to get together and meet new people, as well as raise money to ensure that the kindergarten can offer the best possible program and environment for the children.
