Term dates for 2022

Term 1: Monday 31st January – Friday 8th April

Only teachers attend the first day of term one. Families will be advised of the date and time of their orientation session, which will occur in the first week of term.

Term 2: Tuesday 26th April – Friday 24th June

Term 3: Monday 11th July – Friday 16th September

Term 4: Monday 3th October – Friday 16th December

Please note: Monday the 19th and Tuesday 20th of December are pack up days and no kinder sessions will be held.

Our kindergarten program has the same school holidays as Victorian State Primary Schools. This means we will also close on the same Public Holidays that State Schools are closed.

In 2022 this includes:

• Monday 13th March (Labour Day)
• Friday 15th April (Good Friday)
• Monday 13th June (Queen’s Birthday)
• Likely Friday 23th September (Friday before the Grand Final) (TBC)
• Tuesday 1st November (Melbourne Cup Day)

We run orientation sessions at the beginning of the year where groups are split and children and parents only attend for a short session rather than the full session time. This offers staff more time and opportunity to get to know each individual child and their family. There may also be Staff Professional Development days during the year which may require us to cancel sessions for the day. Families will be notified well in advance if this is the case.
